Every year, the Kurama Fire Festival is held on October 22 on the same day as the Era Festival, but the Kurama Fire Festival in this year has been canceled unfortunately .
It is because restoration of fallen trees, houses, transportation facilities and others damaged by Typhoon No. 21 is not enough.

Awata Festival is held at Awata Shrine, a small shrine located in northern Higashiyama area.
