The cherry blossom season is coming soon.
There are many spots called cherry blossom spots in Kyoto.
It is famous for its temples and shrine gardens, Maruyama Park, Philosophy Road, and Yodogawa Riverbed.
Here are two spots to look at while riding the train.

The first is the “Sagano Torokko Train,” which runs from Torokko Saga Station through Arashiyama and Hozukyo to Torokko Kameoka Station.
Arashiyama is also one of the famous cherry blossom spots, but when you pass there, the cherry blossoms in full bloom continue along the railroad tracks.
Kyoto where you can feel the valley and the cherry blossoms within reach.
It is a spot where you can feel the arrival of spring even if it is not in full bloom.

The second place is the cherry blossom tunnel on the Keifuku Electric Railroad Randen Line (commonly known as Randen).
Approximately 80 cherry blossoms bloom on the side of the railroad track over 200m and dust.
History of Randen It has been popular since its opening in 1910.
It would be good to see the cherry blossoms from the train window and go to Arashiyama.

Sagano trolley train

It will travel 7.3km one way at 25km / h and will take about 25 minutes.
Autumn leaves and cherry blossoms bloom along the line in spring, and there are many things to see.

Keifuku Electric Railroad (Randen)

 The Keifuku Electric Railway Arashiyama Line, which runs from Shijo Omiya in Kyoto to Uzumasa, where the movie village is located, to Arashiyama, has long been known as Randen.

It might be a good idea to take Raiden to Arashiyama, change to the Sagano Sightseeing Train from Arashiyama, and enjoy the cherry blossoms.
