Kiyomizu Temple

Kodaiji Temple


At Kodaiji Temple, which is known for its beautiful autumn leaves and cherry blossoms, night visits are held several times a year for a certain period of time.
You can enjoy the enchanting scenery of the temple, which normally closes in the evening, at night. In the precincts, there are many spots that convey the Momoyama culture that blossomed during Hideyoshi’s time.
You can appreciate the things made with the latest technology at that time, such as Kaisando, which has been built since its construction, the garden created by Kobori Enshu, and the tea room relocated from Fushimi Castle.
