Nagaoka Tenmangu
Nagaoka is a place deeply related to Sugawara no Michizane, who enjoyed poetry orchestra during his lifetime.
It is said that when Michizane was transferred to Dazaifu, he stopped by Nagaoka and missed his remnants. You can see about 300 plum trees in the precincts and the adjacent plum grove.
The plum grove with pure white and dark plums is truly a masterpiece.

【Shimogamo Shrine (Kamo Goso Shrine)】
