One of the many famous flowers that begin to bloom in July is the lotus flower. A beautiful flower that has been popular in water gardens for centuries. In the water gardens of Kajuji temple, lotus flowers are particularly beautiful. This temple garden boasts several breeds of lotus, as well as other lovely seasonal offerings such as water lilies and irises. It’s possible to see flowers in bloom from early July to the end of August.
There are many different species of lotus flowers, each with different colors and attributes. Dairenji temple, a small temple in Kyoto, features forty species of lotus flowers, raising in color from white, red, yellow, and pink. Many tourists are gathering when the lotus begins to flower.
