vol.62:Brilliant night activity in Kyoto

Kyoto Aquarium isn’t large enough but it worth visiting.
They have an excellent range of sea creatures.
The best part for you would be seeing live Japanese Salamanders (huge and quite unusual) and the large community tank (amazing schooling fish).
From this weekend, the Kyoto Aquarium is going to expand their Open hour and hold the event featuring “The Night Aquarium”.
If you’d like to stroll or kill time around evening, it would be a good event for you.

Worth Watching Japanese Dolphin Show

The dolphin show must not be missed, amazing Dolphins and they can jump so high and so active.
Some people say that it’s crazy, like a craziest Japanese TV show, or nonsense, though, while others like to see it and get love it.
A show of dolphins will make for a pleasant and really fun evening.
The Dolphins show is basically the same as daytime one but it is filled with colorful lights and flashing designs.
Hours: 7:30 p.m. ~ 7:50 p.m.
Admission: Included Entrance Fee

Lighting iced Soda

During the event, the aquarium will offer a special beverage that is sold only at night.
Lighting red and blue soda are so cute and fun.
It’s good to take a photo in front of the tank or dolphin show.

Recommended Place around Kyoto Aquarium

There are a Kyoto Railway Museum and Ume-kōji park around the aquarium. If you’d like to see temples, there are Nishi hongan-ji Temple or To-ji Temple. This is a good idea that viewing from the observation deck and having light meal at Kyoto Tower before visiting the aquarium.
