Kyoto has more and more tourists during the cherry blossom season.
\nHere are three cherry blossom spots that can be reached from Kyoto Station by one bus.<\/p>\n

Maruyama Park<\/h5>\n

\nIn the large park centered on the strolling Japanese garden, many cherry blossoms bloom in spring.
\nThe most famous of these is the “Gion Weeping Cherry Blossoms” in the center of the park, also known as the “Gion Night Cherry Blossoms”.
\nIt is a large tree with a height of 12 meters, and the appearance of cherry blossoms blooming from many hanging branches is very graceful.
\nIn addition, about 680 cherry trees of various types such as Yoshino cherry tree, wild cherry tree, and Edohigan are planted.
\nIt is lit up from sunset to midnight and is crowded with many cherry blossom viewing visitors.

2. Nijo Castle<\/h5>\n

\nNijo Castle, which is a World Heritage Site, is divided into three areas, a cherry blossom garden, a clear stream garden, and the west side of the castle, and about 300 cherry trees are planted.
\nThere are about 50 varieties such as Kanhi-zakura, Sato-zakura, Somei-yoshino, and Yama-zakura.
\nMany kinds are planted, so you can enjoy various cherry blossoms for as long as about a month.
\nThe Nijo Castle Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from late March to mid-April and will be lit up at night.
\nYou can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere with the cherry blossoms illuminated along with historical buildings such as the Karamon Gate, an important cultural property.<\/p>\n

3. Ninnaji Temple<\/h5>\n

\nIt is famous as a late-blooming cherry blossom in Kyoto and will be in full bloom in mid-April.
