It is rare for anyone to be able to go to shrines and temples at night as most of them close their gate by 17:00.<br \/>\nThe shrines and temples held the night event; Rakushi-sha (\u843d\u67ff\u820e), Jojakko-ji (\u5e38\u5bc2\u5149\u5bfa), Nonomiya shrine (\u91ce\u5bae\u795e\u793e), Tenryu-ji (\u5929\u9f8d\u5bfa), Hougou-in (\u5b9d\u53b3\u9662), and Horin-ji(\u6cd5\u8f2a\u5bfa).<\/p>\n<p>During the event, most of the pathways were only one-way, and there will be ground crowd-controllers guiding the crowd to the correct route.<br \/>\nAlso, the shuttle bus runs from Nison-in temple to JR Saga Arashiyama.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4a\">Event Information<\/h4>\n<p>Event Period:<br \/>\nDecember 13th~ December 22nd<br \/>\nVenue:<br \/>\nArashiyama area<br \/>\nTime:<br \/>\n17:00~20:30<br \/>\nAccess:<br \/>\n15-minute walk (to Togetsu Bridge) from \u201cSaga Arashiyama\u201d Station on the JR Sagano line<br \/>\nOfficial Website:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hanatouro.jp\/e\/arashiyama\/\">Arashiyama Hanatoro<\/a><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\">Rohm Illumination 2019<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191204-5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3000\" \/><br \/>\nROHM Co., Ltd., semiconductor company based in Kyoto, annually holds the illumination event as social contribution activity.<br \/>\nIn the Rohm Illumination, trees and parks around the headquarter are lit up with over 800,000 LEDs and light bulbs.<br \/>\nIt is the most popular illumination event for locals in winter.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191204-3-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2998\" \/><br \/>\nAt the entrance, there are two trees facing each other. Yamamomo, bayberries, are symbol of this event because its flower language is \u201cwith all one\u2019s heart\u201d.<br \/>\nIlluminated Metasequoia trees create a romantic and somber atmospher.
