Hiei.<br \/>\nThe Ruriko-in temple is one of the branch of the Komyo-ji temple,Jodo Sect, and the main worship is Amidanyorai.<br \/>\n\u3068\u306f\u3044\u3048\u3001the temple was originally built as a villa for \u653f\u6cbb\u5bb6 in Taisho era.<br \/>\nThe Ruriko-in temple had opened since 2014 but it decided to open twice a year, spring and fall to preserve the environment of the gardens.<br \/>\nEven so, the number of tourists get higher year by year because of the popularity of Instagram.<br \/>\nThe amazing reflection of the maple trees on the table is just stunning.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin2\">The Breathtaking Landscape in Ruriko-in Temple<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-2-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2918\" \/><br \/>\nIt takes more than an hour to see the scenery but it surely deserves it.<br \/>\nEveryone can take a magnificent shot.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-4-300x253.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"253\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2919\" \/><br \/>\nOf course it is a breathtaking view, but the crowds made me suffocating. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2920\" \/><br \/>\n\u201cRuri Garden\u201d is also picturesque.<br \/>\nBeside the crowds, the birds tweeted as sing and the garden looks like a heaven as its concept.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-6-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2922\" \/><br \/>\nThe reflected red light were shining brightly in the room near the \u201cGaryo Garden\u201d.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin3\">How was the autumn foliage on November 19th, 2019?<\/h5>\n<p>The weather forecast announced that the autumn leaves gets peak around on November 23 in 2019.<br \/>\nThen the day we visited, no doubt that the magnificent scene became even better when we saw through the wooden windows.<br \/>\nThe peak of the autumn leave is surely during the last week in November, but the number of visitors get peak as well.<br \/>\nIf you want to see the scenery with more relaxing, you should visit there in the early December.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin4\">Is there any activity at Ruriko-in Temple?<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/IMG_20191119_120257-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2924\" \/><br \/>\nThe staff gives you a piece of paper and a pen for the Sutra copying at the entrance.<br \/>\nThere are some tables on the second floor for that.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2925\" \/><br \/>\nGoshuin (a signature that is given at a shrine or a temple)<br \/>\nThe fee is as you wish but it commonly 300 yen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-7-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2926\" \/><br \/>\nWe would suggest to go to ground floor and pay for a cup of green tea and Japanese sweet. The view was not as good as the upper floor, but much fewer people that you could enjoy the peace.<\/p>\n<p>There are many cultural treasures in the room so don\u2019t miss to see them.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin5\">Is there any discount ?<\/h5>\n<p>Warning that IT IS QUITE EXPENSIVE for Entry fee about 2000 yen.<br \/>\nOtherwise of it, you can take pictures everywhere in the house and take an experience of the Sutra Copying.<br \/>\n Students and a person with disabilities are able to take a discount 1,000 yen when you show the identification card.<br \/>\n\uff08<a href=\"http:\/\/rurikoin.komyoji.com\/lp\/en\/\">Ruriko-in Temple Website<\/a>\uff09<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin6\">Is the Ruriko-in Temple a handicap friendly?<\/h5>\n<p>The approach to the entrance is a steep stairs, and it would dangerous when it rains.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-9-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2927\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-8-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2928\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also, it isn\u2019t a good place for children and elderlies because it takes a long time to enter and the visitors wait where it gets chill when it\u2019s cloudy.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin7\">How to get to the Ruriko-in Temple<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-10-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2930\" \/><br \/>\nThere are three way to get to the Ruriko-in temple.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4a\">Avoid Traffic Jam\uff01 Get the train<\/h4>\n<p>JR Kyoto St.\u2192Get off the \u201cTofuku-ji\u201d St. on the JR Nara Line and Exchange to \u201cTofuku-ji\u201d St. on the Keihan line.(Same place)\u2192Get off the \u201cDemachi Yanagi\u201d St. and Exchange to \u201cDemachi Yanagi\u201d St. on the Eizan line. Get off the \u201cYase Hieizan Guchi\u201d St. and 5-minute walk from the station.<br \/>\nTime: 44 minutes<br \/>\nOne-way Fare : 690 yen<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4a\">Easy way. Direct Bus<\/h4>\n<p>Get on the Kyoto Bus #17 head to \u201cYase Eki Mae\u201d at the Kyoto St. and 7-minute walk from the station.<br \/>\nTime: 54 minutes * The bus could be delayed by apx. 15 minutes because of the traffic jam.<br \/>\nOne-way Fare : 400 yen<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4a\">The combination of a subway and a bus<\/h4>\n<p>JR\/ Karasuma Subway line \u201cKyoto\u201d St. \u2192Get off \u201dKokusai Kaikan\u201d St. on the Karasuma Subway line\u2192Get on the Kyoto Bus #19 head to \u201cYase Eki Mae\u201d at the \u201dKokusai Kaikan\u201d St.and 7-minute walk from the station.<br \/>\nTime: 37 minutes<br \/>\nOne-way Fare : 520 yen<\/p>\n<p>KoI staff chose the third one \u201cThe combination of a subway and a bus\u201d.<br \/>\nHere is the reason.<br \/>\nThe first way, the staff thought the fare is expensive as one-way because the tourists should visit several \/ many spots for sightseeing.<\/p>\n<p>The second one, it is the easiest way to get the Ruriko-in and you can enjoy watching the city view but the route could be crowded in fall. We want to arrive the temple as soon as possible for the check in, so we don\u2019t want to waste the time.<\/p>\n<p>We suggest the third one is the best way to get the temple.<br \/>\nIt able to avoid the crowded area and fare is reasonable.<br \/>\nWe used the \u201c Subway, Bus One-Day Pass\u201d so it costs only 900 yen.<br \/>\nIf you trip around Kyoto it worth getting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-16-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2943\" \/><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/oneday-pass.kyoto\/?lang=en\">Kyoto City Transportation Bureau\uff1aSubway, Bus One-Day Pass Website<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We know the \u201cBus One-Day Pass\u201d, but the Yase \/ Ohara area include Ruriko-in is excluded.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\" id=\"rurikoin8\">How long does it take to enter the Ruriko-in Temple?<\/h5>\n<p>Everyone care about the CROWDS.<br \/>\nWhen you google \u201cRuriko-in\u201d, you can find \u201cWait for 3 hours!\u201d \u201cAwful waiting\u201d \u2026\u2026<br \/>\nIt\u2018s kind a amusement park.<\/p>\n<p>KoI staff waited for an hour for entire steps on November 19th, 2019.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4a\">The process to getting a ticket and the entrance<\/h4>\n<p>1.Buy a ticket<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20191122-11-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2931\" \/><br \/>\net in the queue at 11:00 and the Ruriko-in staff gave me a \u6574\u7406\u5238 written the gathering time on it.
