Weekend Events in September 21st to 22nd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fall has come and it\u2019s been cooler and cooler lately in Kyoto.<br \/>\nThe weather forecast says that it\u2019 rainy and cloudy this weekend, so please in your mind to bring your umbrella.<\/p>\n<p>This time, we\u2019ll share about three event held this weekend.<br \/>\nIf it rains, the schedule could be changed, so please check it in advance.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\">Comb Festival\/ Kushi Matsuri @ Yasui Konpirag\u016b<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20190919-1-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2771\" \/><br \/>\nThis event was done in order to honor the combs and hair ornaments used by women once they were no longer needed rather than simply discard them like trash.<br \/>\nTo express gratitude to these items, Yasui Konpirag\u016b hosts its annual Kushi Matsuri every September.<br \/>\nThe festival starts at 1 p.m. in the site and donated combs are added to the grave, and a dance \u201cKurokami\u201d(\u201cBlack Hair\u201d) is performed by  a dancer dressed as a maiko.<br \/>\nAfter that, the assembled women walking around the Gion area, showing off the history of Japanese hairstyle as they do.<br #206 at Kyoto Station<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"style5b\">Seimei Festival@Seimei Shrine<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kyonaka-gozan.kyoto\/media\/koi\/sites\/10\/20190919-2-300x224.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2772\" \/><br \/>\nSeimei Shrine where a famous astronomer, Seimei Abe, is worshiped in the center part of Kyoto city.<br \/>\nSeimei Festival is the most important festival for Seimei Shrine itself and locals.<br \/>\nOn the first day, Yoimiyasai Festival (Festival-eve) is taken place and Lantern Procession and Yudate Ritual are planned.<br \/>\nOn the second day, an annual festival is taken place and a children parade with about 500 people marching in procession around Seimei Shrine.<br \/>\nYou can see a besutiful gardens all  through its different wards.<br \/>\nOne of these is a bush clover garden that is located in Nashinoki Shrine, Kyoto.<br \/>\nIt is called \u201cBush Clover Palace\u201d a popular sightseeing place where they bloom in fall.<br \/>\nOn September 22nd, the Bush Clover Festival is held here and traditional ritual as well.<br \/>\nDate:<br \/>\nSeptember 21st-23rd<br
